Spirituality

We have learned that spirituality is the flip side of matter. But if we think about it carefully, isn't matter itself just concentrated energy? Matter exists only through movement. If scientists are right in saying that everything is energy, it naturally means that everything in our universe is subject to spirituality. So we can forget about matter being on one side and the spirit on the other.

As the following story shows, everything comes from the same source. It is said that when he was a child, Albert Einstein’s class was asked to answer a challenging question put by his teacher:

"Did God create everything that exists?”

One student answered bravely: “Yes, he did! He did indeed!”

The teacher repeated: "God created everything?”

Yes, sir," replied the student.

OK”, said the teacher, “if God created everything, then He also created evil because evil exists and according to the principle of our work that defines who we are, then God is evil.

The student was silent in front of such an answer. The teacher was quite pleased with himself and bragged to the students that he had once again proved that faith in a God was a myth.

Albert Einstein then raised his hand and said, "May I ask you a question, sir?

Of course," replied the professor.

The student asked, "Professor, is there such a thing as cold?”

What kind of question is that? Of course it exists. Have you never been cold?" said the professor.

The young man answered, "Actually, sir, there is no such thing as cold. According to the law of physics, what we consider to be cold is actually the absence of heat. Any individual or object owns or transmits Energy. Heat is produced by a body or material that transmits Energy. Absolute zero (-460°F) is the total absence of heat. All matter becomes inert and unable to react at this temperature. There is no such thing as cold. We created this word to describe how we feel if we have no heat.

The teacher didn’t quite know how to answer. And then the impertinent student continued. "Professor, does darkness exist?

The teacher replied, “Of course it exists!

The student, "You are wrong again, Sir. There is no darkness either. Darkness is actually the absence of light. We can study light, but not darkness. In fact, we can use Newton's prism to fragment the white light into several colours and study the various wavelengths of each colour. You can't measure darkness. A simple ray of light can burst into a world of darkness and illuminate it. How can you know how much space is occupied by darkness? You measure the amount of light present. Isn't that right? Darkness is a term used by man to describe what happens when there is no light.

To finish, the young man asked the teacher, "Sir, is there such a thing as evil?

Now uncertain, the professor replied, “Of course, as I have already said. We see it every day, in the examples of man's inhumanity to man. It is in the multitude of crimes and violence all over the world. These manifestations are nothing but evil!

The student replied, "Evil does not exist, Sir, or at least it does not exist on its own. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is like darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe God's absence. God did not create evil. Evil is not like faith, or love that exists just like light and warmth. Evil is the result of what happens when man does not have God's love in his heart. It is like the cold that comes when there is no heat or the darkness that comes when there is no light.

The professor sat down, stunned by such an answer.
